1 single SwitchBot Curtain 3 can run on up to 3 meters of track. If you have a track that is longer than 3 meters, it is recommended that you purchase two Curtain 3 devices.
SwitchBot Curtain 3 emits sound up to 42dB when used in Normal Mode, which is equivalent to the noise level of a library. If you want to experience a quieter opening and closing, you can turn on QuietDrift ™️ Mode, and noise will be reduced to 25dB.
SwitchBot Curtain 3 supports one side curtain control even in dual-open mode, you can control one side of your curtains in the device control page in our app.
The charging port of SwitchBot Curtain 3 is a Type C, identical to that of the original SwitchBot Curtain. Therefore, there's no issue in using the solar panel from the original SwitchBot Curtain with the SwitchBot Curtain 3. However, ensure that the solar panel is firmly secured with Velcro. This ensures the panel won't fall due to gravity or have the charging cable disconnected accidentally.
When using QuietDrift mode, the battery tends to drain quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to pair the use of QuietDrift with a solar panel.
Finally I was able to change my buzzer and now I can unlock the door with my phone. I PAIRED IT WITH THE HUB*

Very polished automatic curtain opener
I've never tried the first 2 iterations of the curtain motor, but this third iteration felt very polished. From just unboxing the device, you can see a lot of care was made in designing it as there is very little wasted space in the packaging.
It was quite easy to set up although I found the instructional diagrams included in the package a bit hard to read as it's very small. Fortunately, the app comes with the same instructions both in image and video form. My only complaint is that the main part is hard to snap into the hooks while it is hidden behind a curtain and due to the poor visibility, it made it difficult to align the two parts correctly. My hope is that curtain motor 4 might make it even easier to attach a curtain rod.

Fantastic product.
I needed a unique solution for the lock on my AirBNB condo - the smart lock needed to turn counterclockwise to unlock and other smart locks were not compatible. After finding SwitchBot, I sent them a message to inquire about calibration and was quickly provided an answer stating the lock was compatible. Unfortunately I needed to pay duty fees on the package, however upon opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised with the thoughtful product packaging and quality of items. I just installed the lock, NFC tag, keypad and two smart LED bulbs and I can honestly say I’m very impressed with the ease of installation and functionality of all products. The app is sleek, easy to use and all products were plug and play. Definitely a game changer and will recommend!
